KashmirCorps recognizes that the potential of ordinary people to do great things needs to only be tapped into, and it is precisely this, that we hope to bring out under the Development Service projects. In a region ridden with conflict, many Kashmiri's small businesses have suffered. KashmirCorps seeks to find dedicated individuals with some background in economics, international development, or business/marketing in order to assist ordinary Kashmiri's in revitalizing their small business and offer them a chance to develop a working business strategy and target markets in the right way, thereby maximizing profits.

KashmirCorps' participants will be working directly with those most in need, and with the most potential. Many small businesses in Kashmir are based on agricultural goods like rice, fruits, and grains while many others are based on handicrafts. These businesses are usually family run, and too often women and children bear most of the labor brunt in a failing effort. It will be your task to develop a working and feasible business strategy and help them move their business in the right track.
